In this high energy class your child will be introduced to the Super Spanish Amigos. They will help your child say and understand basic vocabulary about school, colors, sizes, and much more. My teaching style is high energy but always in tune with your child's learning needs. Each child will get multiple chances to speak either through repeating or showing me what they know. I use interactive google slides via teacher screen-share, that provide visuals for each topic that I am teaching. I also use fun brain breaks to extend their learning and to get them moving. Hola amigos! Hello friends, my name is Claudia Seidle. I am originally from El Salvador where I attended an English immersion school. When I moved to the U.S. at age 9, I already knew English and I was ready for school and friends. Today, I am a certified teacher in my state for grades 1-6 with 11 years of private and public school experience. Five of those years I served as a Spanish teacher for grades preschool - 8th. I also have 5 years of online teaching experience. I am a mother of 5 and I have homeschooled my own on and off for about 15 years. During those 15 years I have taught many Spanish classes in co-ops and in my own home. It is such a dream job for me to be able to teach and reach students all over the globe. It is also my dream to help children learn Spanish well through immersion. Do not be scared. I have been teaching English immersion online to Chinese students for the past 3 years and I know what works. My teaching philosophy is multifaceted, just like the children I teach. My lessons are going incorporate all the learning modalities so that your little one is motivated and connected. There will be songs, 2D props, 3D props, digital props, movement (maybe exercise and dancing), and so much laughter. Let's talk about laughter... I fully believe that one of the best ways to break down any learning barriers is through laughter. So believe me, I will be looking for what makes your child laugh and smile! I hope your child can join my family of learners and doers! Learning a second language is going to open up so many doors for your child, and I am excited to be the one helping them unlock those doors!
