Let's-A-Go! In this one time class students will receive a pdf to print that contains unique Mario Bingo cards to play an exciting game of Mario Bingo! We will play as many rounds as time permits and we will talk about all things Mushroom Kingdom. During each game, students will have the opportunity to test their knowledge of the Mario universe by racing to accurately pair the Mario Bingo word that appears on the bingo wheel with the image of the character appearing on their bingo board. Students will also have a chance to meet with other Mario fans all while doing their best to call M-A-R-I-O first! The game will be explained at the start of class, there is no reading required for students to participate and have a great time!
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to play Bingo and connect with like minded kids who are also passionate about Mario. They will learn good sportsmanship as we cheer each other on and root for each other to do our best. They will hone their listening skills and will have the opportunity to share their favorite facts about Mario and all of his friends (and foes)!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from University of California Riverside
Hi! I love to teach classes that are fun and promote discussion and creativity. In all of my classes I mix critical thinking with out of the box thinking so that the kids learn something brand new! I find the best way to do this is by using books, video games, trivia and other interactive components to keep them engaged and wanting to learn.
My passion for critical thought stems from my degree in Philosophy. The integration of pop culture in my classes is rooted in a lifetime of toy collecting, video game playing, and during my time as a staff writer for an online comic book review site. Over the past five years I have created community-based, pop-up craft classes for parents and children that integrate culture and thought, and I am excited about the opportunity to share these types of activities with my students!
Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband, son and three cats! I like online gaming and spending a lot of time crafting.
