What superpowers does silver have? What would a superhero based on hydrogen look like? In this class students will learn about the periodic table and create superhero based off elements we discuss.

US Grade 1 - 4
Come and explore the amazing "superpowers" of the elements of the periodic table. We will begin class by discussing the elements of the periodic table, the groups the elements are placed in, and explain the information that the periodic table tells us about each element. Then we will pick an element and design our own "super" element trading card! Will your character glow in the dark? Energizing? Metallic? Lighter than air? Students will leave class with a unique character of their creation...
