What's included
1 live meeting
45 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
We'll start with an ice(cream) breaker where students show & tell the class about their favorite frozen treat! We'll then go over a brief history of the Ben & Jerry's company and then move to their ice cream making process by watching a video and breaking down the steps as we go. Students will work together to answer trivia questions and finish by creating/drawing their own unique ice cream flavor to be shared with the group. Bringing frozen treats to class is highly ENCOURAGED but of course not required! No previous knowledge needed. I'm always open to questions and suggestions and I can't wait to get started!
Learning Goals
Students will gain an understanding of the company, Ben & Jerry's, as well as the process of making ice cream. They will have the opportunity to show & tell their favorite ice cream flavors as well as use their creativity to invent their own!
Other Details
Parental Guidance

Teacher expertise and credentials
I graduated in 2017 from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film & Media Arts with a BFA in Creative Producing and a minor in Public Relations.
I've been working in entertainment publicity for almost 10 years.
When I was younger (and let's be honest, even now!), I loved to make short films with my friends - from writing scripts, to directing, acting, editing and turning our family room into a home theater for each "premiere", I've had a love for filmmaking as long as I can remember and I can't wait to share that love with some excited students!
I spend every free second obsessing over my cat, Chito, as well as reading, cooking, eating ice cream and planning my next adventure - from Europe travels, to snowmobile trips to local camping weekends.
My family and friends are the most important things in my world so I'm excited to get to know you and yours.
Please don't hesitate to reach out with class requests as well as questions or comments. I'm an open book!
