Class Experience
Summer Tutoring Enrichment is open to Kindergarten, First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth grade. Learners will receive additional one-on-one instruction and practice skills in the subject areas of Reading, Writing and/or Math. The instruction will be based on the specific subject area or areas learners need guidance and assistance. To best meet the needs of the learners, parents are encouraged to message through Outschool with specific details regarding where your child needs additional assistance within 24 hours before the scheduled tutoring session. This includes any comments and questions you may have prior to the tutoring session. In order to personalize the tutoring session, learners may bring any previous work that they may be struggling with in Reading, Writing and/or Math. Learners will need to have activities posted on Outschool Classroom printed out before the scheduled session. Also, learners can be enrolled in as many sessions that are needed to support their academic needs.

My personal and professional experience consists of up to 24 years as a classroom teacher from Elementary to High School grade levels. My professional accomplishments have been continuing professional development in my field by obtaining and adding ESOL, Gifted and Reading Endorsements to my teaching certification. Throughout my 24 years of teaching, I have specialized in making a positive impact on students' lives by educating and mentoring them.
While working together with family members, I will support your goals. I will provide the parents and children with the tools they need to meet their personal and academic goals. “Family members play a vital role in helping children develop a joy for learning and an understanding that learning is a process, something that all children and adults do, all their lives. Therefore, taking this approach, family learning is the learning that family members engage in over their lifetimes.” -Lynn Dierking
