Welcome Dog Lovers! I am a former Petsitter and Dog Walker and am excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with your fellow Dog Lover! This will be an open forum to discuss all things Canine! Bring your pup along ( Stuffed/ Real!) to enjoy the class! Each class will be divided into various sections Part 1 - We will discuss various breeds each day. We will learn the following about each breed: - Physical Characteristics - Behavior Traits - Breed Standards - Care Tips - Origins Part 2 - Let's Chat ( Open Discussion) - We will discuss the 'Doggie Dirt of the Day.' Doggie Dirt topics include - Feeding/ Walking/ Training/ Playtime/ Dog Park Etiquette/ Famous Canines Part 3 - Fetching Careers ( Slides/ Clips/ Discussion) - Career of the Day - Career Options in the Canine Community - Dog Walker/ Groomer/ Petsitter/ Vet Tech/ Pet Photographer/ Dog Trainer/ Rescue Coordinator Part 5 - Learning Check ( True/ False) & Goodbyes! Day 1 - Toy Breeds - Chihuahua, Yorkie, Maltese and Pug / Feeding your pup/ How to be a Dog Walker/ Petsitter Day 2 - Working Dogs - Akita, Giant Schnauzer, Boxer, Mastiff, Great Dane / Walking your dog/ How to be a Vet Tech Day 3 - Herding Dogs - Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Belgian Mallinois, Collie, Corgi / Dog Park Etiquette/ How to be a Pet Photographer Day 4 - Hound Dogs - Beagles, Bloodhounds, Dachsund, Greyhound / Famous Canines/ How to run a Dog Rescue. Students will be encouraged, but not mandated, to participate.

Parents should supervise any and all interaction between Students & Dogs.
