The class will meet 1x per day for 40 minutes for a 3-day-long summer camp. * Tentative Class Schedule: Day 1:...
Students will learn a variety of strategies in preparation for the SAT Testing Experience.
I worked for The Nantucket Learning Group as a PSAT/SAT Tutor in the Summer of 2018. I have also consulted with various students on an individual basis about their approach to standardized test taking. During the last seven academic years, I have worked as an English teacher and as a faculty member of a learning center. My undergraduate degree is in English and my master's degree is in Education: School Counseling and Human Development.
N/A Note-taking and reviewing the material between sessions is strongly encouraged though.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be asked to take more ownership of their answers and their explanations of how they arrived at their answers as the class progresses.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
