✋Welcome to the Grammar Summer School! 🤚 In this 8 week summer class, we will be focusing on three key areas: types of sentences, parts of speech, and punctuation. Over the course of our time together, we will explore the nuances of each of these topics, and build a strong foundation of grammar knowledge that will serve your learner well for years to come. I am a seasoned expert in grammar, with over ten years of experience teaching students of all ages. I pride myself on creating an engaging and interactive learning environment, where students are encouraged to participate and ask questions. Classes will be a mix of lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities, all designed to help your learner understand and retain the material. I believe that learning should be fun, and my teaching style reflects this belief. My goal is to create a learning experience that is both enjoyable and informative, so that your learner can gain knowledge and skills in a way that feels natural and engaging. By the end of this summer grammar class, your learner will be able to identify different types of sentences, understand the function of different parts of speech, and use punctuation correctly in their writing. These skills are essential for effective communication, and will be useful in a wide range of contexts. I look forward to learning with your learner this summer, and I am excited to see the progress your learner will make in this class! A few important things to note: ⭐︎ "The Road to Grammar" is an ongoing class designed for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade learners who are looking to sharpen their grammar skills. ⭐︎Please ensure that your learner has a pencil and paper for each session. ⭐︎ Occasionally, an activity sheet may need to be printed for class. If this is the case, I will give at least 24 hours' notice. ⭐︎Frequent practice activity sheets will be provided after class.
