Summer Circle Time
In this class, preschool students will talk about the alphabet, numbers 1-10, basic shapes, colors, and different themes. Some examples of themes include: Camping, Dinosaurs, and Emotions. Preschool students will also have movement times.

In this summer class, students will learn: - letter names, sounds, and objects that start the letter (students will be asked to do a show and tell of an object for each letter, 2 letters a week) - Numbers 1-10, counting objects, and how to draw the number - Basic shape names and how to draw them - Colors and what can be that color - Different themes (Examples: Camping, Dinosaurs) This class is a flexible class. Circle time will not look the same everyday. Some days may be talking and watching videos, others maybe get up and move the whole time. I am a big hands on and entertainment learner. I have to have an entertaining piece in each lesson. Most children need the same thing. I plan on using different props, movement and learning videos, and games to teach.
Learning Goals
My goals for the students:
- Learn the names of the letters, Especially the letters in their names.
- Counting their fingers and other objects
- Drawing basic shapes
- Matching objects to the right colors
My goal is to also have the students have fun learning and moving.

In this lesson, I will learn about the students likes, and dislikes. We will also talk about the letter Aa (name, sounds, and objects to start with Aa). We will also talk about the number 1, how to count to 1 items, and how to write the number. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
My Father is...
In this lesson, students will talk about 3 positive things their father is. Example: Nice, Funny, Silly. Students will also show the object they have for the letter Aa.
We will also talk about the circle shape, how to make it with our fingers, and how to draw it. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
My Father does...
In this lesson, we will also talk about the letter Bb (name, sounds, and objects to start with Bb) Students will talk about different things their father does to help them.
We will also talk about the color red, and what objects can be red. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Father's Day
In this lesson, students will show the object they have for the letter Bb. Students will talk about different things they can do for their father. 45 mins online live lesson
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parents will have the option of sitting in on classes if they please. There will be no use of upsetting or scary items during the classes.
Supply List
Students will need a white board, dry erase marker, and eraser for white board. *Students will also need a glow stick for the GLOW PARTY*
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Some sources that will be needed during this class are:
- Objects from around the house for each letter (Example: Letter A - Apple Toy / Letter B - Ball)
- Small Objects to count (Examples: Pom Poms, Popsicle Sticks)
