In each 25 minute class, students will listen to a story from the Elephant and Piggie series by Mo Willems. Students will participate in a discussion afterward and we will have a fun scavenger hunt at the end of class. Students will practice their listening and reading comprehension skills during the discussion. Each student will have a chance to participate in the discussion and answer questions. I am a fun-loving and energetic teacher with a passion for making learning exciting. I look forward to meeting your children in class and sharing my love of reading with them. Here is a list of the books we will read: Day 1: There Is a Bird on Your Head! Day 2: Are You Ready to Play Outside? Day 3: Today I Will Fly! Day 4: Pigs Make Me Sneeze! I have taught gymnastics, music, ESL, Spanish, and elementary/middle/high school grades). I have homeschooled my children for the past 15 years and have also been an online teacher for the past five years. I am a loving and patient educator who believes learning should be FUN!
