Boost your students reading over the summer! Tutoring sessions will meet over the summer 2x per week for 30 minutes a class. The first day or two will be used to gain an understanding of where the students reading level is. Each day will consist of reading, vowel study and word study. Reading: We will read from a book that is just above the students current level, working on fluency and accuracy as we read. I have worked for the last year as a reading aide in a public elementary school. My job was to help those who were reading below grade level improve their reading skills and confidence. I am certified in the Science of Reading curriculum and have been trained on UURC methods.
