Does your child struggle to stay organized? Time Management? Both?

Effective study skills are not only important for school, but for life. Learning time management and organizational strategies are life-long skills needed for success.

In this class, we will discuss different strategies to help your child -
Organize Their Class Material
Keep Backpack Clean
Keep Study Area Organized and Stocked
Discover Where They Are Wasting Their Time
How To Manage Their Time Instead of Time Managing Them
Use A Weekly Planning System
And More...

This class is teacher-directed with a lot of student input and participation. I am a kind and caring teacher who has 30 years of teaching and 20+ years of teaching study skills.

Class materials will be sent to be printed prior to class. I also send handouts after class.

As a parent myself, I know you have probably shared many of the same tips that I will share, but as you know students often listen better to teachers than their own parents. I am a teacher and often mine did!

I love teaching practical study skills to students, however, I have learned that it is just as important for the parents to learn and reinforce the skills I have taught.

I only have them for an hour, you have them for a lifetime. I give them the starting point and foundation, but these skills will need to be reinforced at home after the class ends. Implementing these skills and strategies takes practice and your child will not perfect this overnight. However, with practice, the skills can become rote. I teach - Practice Makes Progress!

Happy Learing!
