1-2 hours per week. Students will memorize the lyrics for their selection and will practice their selection to ready it for performance.Class Experience
We will raise our voices together with warm up vocal techniques, then each student will have their turn in the spotlight, singing a solo piece they have worked in class. In this informal setting, students will: - learn how to take a song selection to the performance level, memorizing lyrics and prepping for their individual performance - enjoy singing with a group - build confidence - learn how to be a supportive, polite audience member, cheering on the students and learning from the performance of other students
Learning Goals
In preparing for their performance, students will strengthen their skills, learning techniques from Lenora on how to manage any performance nerves and will build their confidence in themselves that will flow into their daily lives!

**Announcement ** Dear students, I am opening up “live” classes starting Jan. 14, 2025 through to Feb. 20, 2025. My tour on the Disney Wonder here in Australia will end in early Jan, and then I’ll be back performing on the Disney Magic early March. So, here’s a great chance to dive right in to prepping a song, working on some voice techniques, or for students new to singing lessons, a chance to get a feel for what singing lessons are like! 🎵 Hi, I'm Miss Lenora! I am an accomplished pianist/vocalist and music teacher based in Southern California. As a headliner with Disney Cruise Line, I was awarded "Musician of the Year" 2019 on the Disney Magic. When not on the high seas performing with Disney Cruise Line, I can be found busy teaching music for ages preschool through to high school seniors.
🎹 I am a classically trained pianist and registered teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music, and have been teaching piano, voice and theory to students for the past 17 years. My students have a 100% success rate for being accepted into performing arts high schools and college programs. I LOVE hearing from my students when they reach out to me saying:
• “I got the part in the school musical”
• “ I nailed my audition”
• “ I sang my special song to my Grandma!”

🎙️ “Music Is For Everyone” is my motto. Through music education, we build confidence, poise, big brain activity (yes those math rumors are true!), and have fun while doing it.

🐶 My hobbies include any day with my darling, 7 pound, 12 year old Morkie (Maltese x Yorkshire Terrier) MILO. HE loves meeting children and sitting in the sunlit garden. I also enjoy knitting and crocheting, something my Grandmother taught me, along with her love of music. 🧶
