Do you want to be a leader on your student council, youth leadership team, or club officer? In this workshop, you will learn how to craft a powerful speech that will inform and motivate your peers to vote for YOU to represent them as a leader. In DAY 1, learn how to write and organize your election speech using an outline. Your speech will include your qualities, talents, and commitment to serve your school, club, or organization as a leader. Discover how to use creative word choices and persuasion that will capture your audience's attention. In DAY 2, you will learn and practice public speaking skills (including gestures, eye contact, and vocal expression). You will have an opportunity to deliver your election speech and receive positive feedback that will boost your confidence. This workshop will be a valuable experience for aspiring student leaders, class officers, and anyone interested in honing their public speaking and leadership skills. By the end of the 2-day workshop, participants will possess the confidence and skills to deliver speeches that resonate with your audience and showcase your unique voice as a leader. John Quincy Adams, 6th president of the U.S., said, "“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, YOU are a leader.” Ask yourself, "Do my actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more? Am I a leader?" If your answer is YES, it's time to prepare your leadership election speech!
