Class Experience

What is stress? Why do we get stressed and what can we do about it?

In this one-time course, learners about why we get stressed, what are the main causes of stress, and most importantly how to manage and relieve stress. Learners will be exposed to coping skills that they can use at home, school, and in the community.

This course will be especially helpful for students who have a lot going on! Between school, sports, and friends, it can be hard to stay on track of everything.

This course will be discussion based and interactive. There are no materials needed. I will be using a presentation with images and visuals to support instruction. Learners will be actively engaged in discussions about the various techniques they will learn, such as routines they can start to ease the stress they may be feeling every day.
Learning Goals
By the end of the course, students will identify sources of stress, as well as strategies for managing their stress.
