What's included

1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hours per week
Homework
2-4 hours per week. Home workouts 10-15 minutes in length are provided in a PDF for learners who are interested
Assessment
Assessments guide the selection of exercises and repetitions for the learners to perform in class and practice during the week.
Grading
Certificate of completion available upon request

Class Experience

Get stronger, more flexible, improve posture and confidence! Be inspired each session to work toward your individual goals. Learners are met where they are and encouraged to build strength and flexibility at their pace. Each week we will work toward your goals. Home exercises will be provided if requested. 
Each session is a fun and challenging workout uniquely and tailored to your learners needs.  
How will your learner will be challenge at their level? 
Assessments will be made at the first session and as needed weekly to provide the correct type and level of workout your learner needs. Core strength and flexibility are shown to improve ability in sports and help to keep athletes healthy. 

Weekly Topics (please note these may be adjusted to learners goals but will follow this basic format):
Week of June 22: core strength and assessment
Week of June 29: Spinal flexibility and back strength
Week of July 1: Lower body strength
Week July of 8: Upper Body strength
Week of July 15: back to the core
Week of July 22: special workouts for balance and coordination
Week of July 29: whole body workout
 
Each session starts with a warmup and then moves into more challenging exercise on the mat focused on individual learners needs. As a physical therapist the instructor for this course will make sure your learner is using good form and performing exercises that are appropriate for their age and ability. Exercises are chosen to maximize time and incorporate several elements at a time to provide a whole-body workout.

Parental Guidance
Please be sure your learner has plenty of floor space and a mat for this class.
