I love stranger things and often think about alternative endings. Creative writing is a fun way to think about your favorite things in a new and exciting way.Class Experience
US Grade 5 - 8
Does your child love Stranger Things? Would they love to change the way Eleven and her friends take on aliens? Or what if they could create a new scenario for them to take on? In this 4-week creative writing class, your child will be given a Stranger Things prompt to write about each week. They can be as creative as they want and continue Eleven's journey as she continues to take on the mind flayer all while they learn to be creative and get positive and constructive feedback on their writing. Each week the students will read their story to the class (unless uncomfortable) and laugh and learn with their classmates. The class will have other creative activities such as creating their own monster for the show, playing games such as name that 80's item, and answering questions about the theories we have for the upcoming season. You will meet other stranger things fans and share your love for the class!
Learning Goals
Students will learn creative writing basics, get constructive feedback from teachers and students, and get grammatical and spelling feedback.
