Reading to children has so many benefits for the learner and can provide a solid foundation for further education. Reading to children may help improve language skills, imagination, & creativity. In this course, I will read short the fictional story "The Food Crisis" by Christina A. Watts. This course is designed to provide some fun for your young learner. Your learner may also be exposed to new vocabulary. Learners will get a chance to interact with me, the Author, and ask questions. No previous experience or knowledge is needed.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, my name is Teacher Christina. I have over 12 years of experience successfully teaching and working with children of all ages. I welcome the opportunity to work with and help your child on the Outschool platform. It is my goal to make learning educational. I plan to offer your learner classes in basic ASL, nutrition information, and maybe even explore African American history of Chicago.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and hold the credentials NDTR & CLC and minored in African American studies. I also have a basic certificate in ASL. I’m an Author and have a home-based travel business. I am a lifelong learner and look forward to sharing what I’ve learned with your learner.
