Photography storytelling techniques will be taught in this class. The topics covered will be storytelling, leading lines, contrast, color, focus, lighting, choosing images, etc. This class will be structured with story telling google slides, image sharing, and discussion. I will teach by direct instruction, then student sharing, then whole-group discussion. My teaching style is engaging and kind. Learners will be able to ask questions as we go though the google slides, share some of their own photography and discuss how to tell a story through photography. Learners need to know how to take a picture with a camera or camera phone.
Learning Goals
Learners will take their photography to the next level by being able to tell a story by creating multiple images.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello Learners! I teach science, gaming, and photography classes in an engaging way. I have been a certified science teacher for the past 14 years and owned my own photography business. I have taught science online for the past 5 years and I LOVE it! I believe that learning should be a hands-on experience and that students should have more choices in their own education. I dislike the fact that many science classes focus on rote memorization. Real science follows the scientific method or allows students to discover the world around them in a more natural and exciting way.
One fun fact about me is that my family loves having mini dance parties in our living room! My kids are 6 and 8 years old, so they aren't embarrassed by my silliness yet!
