Students will strengthen reading and listening skills and communications skills. Reading skills will be practiced through listening to the story, following along, and comprehension questions and discussion. Communication skills such as waiting your turn to speak and paying attention while someone else is speaking will be strengthened through discussion, answering questions and activities such as crafts and show & tell. Students will also learn the parts of a book and how to take care of a book. 

I am degreed and state certified and have been a Pre-K and Kindergarten teacher for over 9 years and story time has always been one of my favorite activities!
