In this class, learners will sing and read about the Fall season! We will be reading Goodbye Autumn, Hello Winter by Kenard Pak. We will begin story time with a fun song, then Mrs. Maria will read a book to the students. We will discuss what we have read after we have completed our book. 

Learners will engage with Mrs. Maria after a brief introduction of the Winter season. Mrs. Maria will sing a song about Winter, then we will all sing together. When it is time to read, Mrs. Maria will share her screen and read our digital book. After we have completed our book, we will discuss what we have read, and how what we have learned relate to Winter. When we have finished our book discussion, we will draw our favorite parts of the story. Learners will need either the print out provided by the teacher, or one piece of paper and crayons or makers to draw with. The coloring page will be attached on the classroom's page.

Learners will interact by participating in story time through songs and reading along with Mrs. Maria on the screen. Learners will also be asked questions about topics discussed in class.
