 Week 1
Lesson 1
Oh No George!
This week's story is about a naughty dog who just can't resist temptation! Our sheets will be dog themed: how to draw a dog, dot to dot, letter D colouring and make a dog ear headband.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Mr Tiger Goes Wild
This story is about a tiger who feels he just doesn't fit into the city that he lives in. What will make him loosen up? Our activities will be tiger themed: pattern tracing, animal counting, tiger colouring, and add more stripes to the tiger.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
This classic story is about the life cycle of a caterpillar transforming into a beautiful butterfly. Our activities will be based on caterpillars and life cycles: number sequencing caterpillars, pattern sheet, butterfly life cycle and maze.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Owl Babies
This story is about a family of 3 baby owls and their owl mother. One night their owl mother is gone! Where could she have gone? These activities will be based on the baby owls: baby owl tracing, label an owl, make your own stick puppets and owl size matching.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
When the Sun Goes Home
This colourful story is about what the sun gets up to when he's not shining in the sky. Is it easy being so sunny all the time? Our activities will be about the sun and rainbows: sun mosaic, letter 'S' I spy, rainbow colouring, and missing numbers.
 Week 6
Lesson 6
Six Dinner Sid
This last story is about an extremely greedy cat! How on earth does he eat six dinners every single day? These activities are based on cats and food: how to draw a cat, cat dot to dot, pencil control sheet and make your own dinner with cutting and sticking
The main goal of this class is for young children to develop a love of books through listening to read-aloud stories and seeing beautiful illustrations! The activities provided will also give children early reading and literacy skills, fine motor skills, develop creativity, and introduce children to early counting and maths skills.
-Print out sheets that I will provide each week
-Colourful pens/crayons
-Scissors
-Glue or sellotape
-Lolly sticks (or something similar)
Most activities can be completed independently, however the parents will need to make sure their child has the right sheets printed off for that week, and if any cutting or sticking is required, the parent may need to offer assistance to their child, or cut out pieces beforehand.
