Hola y Bienvenidos! Hello and welcome! In this class, we will meet once per week to listen to a story together, learn some Spanish vocabulary, and make a craft. The teacher will play the story listed below in English. Students can enjoy a snack while listening to the story. The teacher will facilitate a discussion in English by asking both comprehension and imaginative questions to help extend the students reading. We will then learn some vocabulary from the book in Spanish. We will learn the Spanish vocabulary by TPR- Total Physical Response. TPR helps children learn the Spanish vocabulary by putting actions to words. Lastly, using instructions in Spanish, we will create a craft associated with the book that the learner can display at home. We welcome continuing learners and new learners at any time. Each lesson is a stand-alone class.
