💡 Beginners to D&D 5e welcome! 🌿 Explore the Sword Coast, One of the most memorable locations in D&D! 🕵️♀️ Search out the cause of the giant invasion and put a stop to it! ⚔️ Face memorable enemies from towering giants to unhospitable shopkeepers! Official Description: ------ Giants have emerged from their strongholds to threaten civilization as never before. Hill giants are stealing all the grain and livestock they can, while stone giants have been scouring settlements that have been around forever. Fire giants are press-ganging the small folk into the desert, while frost giant longships have been pillaging along the Sword Coast. Even the elusive cloud giants have been witnessed, their wondrous floating cities appearing above Waterdeep and Baldur’s Gate. Where is the storm giant King Hekaton, who is tasked with keeping order among the giants? The humans, dwarves, elves, and other small folk of the Sword Coast will be crushed underfoot by the onslaught of these giant foes. The only chance at survival is for the small folk to work together to investigate this invasion and harness the power of rune magic, the giants’ weapon against their ancient enemies, the dragons. The only way the people of Faerun can restore order is to use the giants’ own power against them. ------ Dungeons and Dragons is is collaborative storytelling game. It is a game of vast possibilities where you learn to think carefully, to plan, to strategize, to persuade, to resolve conflict, and so much more, all while exploring memorable locales, meeting fascinating NPCs, and defeating truly frightening enemies. This course will give students a great deal of experience in the details, rules, and mechanics of Dungeons and Dragons. Students will also grow close with the other students they are adventuring with and learn to better communicate, work together, and treat one another with respect while collaborating to solve puzzles, fight enemies, and tell a great story. Please note that this is an ongoing course as it is impossible to give a specific number of meetings because that depends how the story develops in the hands of the students. Compared to other campaigns, though, this is considered a long campaign (meaning likely 8+ months). If you must leave at some point, please don't worry about your fellow classmates. We will exit your character and bring in another student in a way that progresses the story. Note: You must have your video on for these sessions. D&D is a game of community and collaboration, of experiencing, struggling, and laughing together. If you cannot actively participate, please do not enroll. Reach out to me if you have questions about this.

Parental Guidance
Though there is combat in this game, it is described in words, not images. I will also ask and require students to be conscious of their descriptions, avoiding anything grotesque or inhumane.
Also, we use dndbeyond.com to track characters and roles in this game. You will need a free account then will have access to all of my purchased materials once you join the campaign.
