THIS IS A WEEKLY ONGOING CLASS! JOIN ANY TIME! Please watch the entire video for this class (click on class thumbnail) before signing up to see animated examples of how this class works! CLASS DESCRIPTION If you want a way to develop your stop motion animation skills over a longer period of time with fun weekly projects, this class is for you! You can animate using ANYTHING you want (clay, bricks, paper, toys, etc.) Class topics can include adding sound effects and voices, special effects with hand drawn animation and other objects, body mechanics (walks, runs, jumps, and more), acting (facial expressions, matching audio, pantomime) and much, MUCH more. Each class session is split into 4 parts: 1) Lesson - The teacher will provide a structured lesson with a focus to give students more tools to add to their animation skill set. 2) Sharing time - A fun time where students can share their work with the class. 3) Feedback and help - A time to ask for ways to improve on an animation or to get technical help with the animation app. 4) Choice - With any remaining time students get to work on their animation from the lesson that the teacher presented, or on an animation of their choice. 5) Animation principles - One animation principle is covered each week using professional animation samples. SUPPLIES: Check the Learner Supply List below to see how students can gather their supplies one week in advance of each class. Detailed lists and instructions on where to find supplies are offered. PREREQUISITES: None! All levels of learners are welcome. CURRICULUM SCHEDULE - THIS IS A WEEKLY ONGOING CLASS! JOIN ANY TIME!
