1 hour per week. There will be one brief homework assignment before we begin the stock market simulation. Students will be asked to pick one company and use the internet (a free, specific web site will be provided) to complete a stock information sheet. Once we begin trading stocks in the stock market simulation game, students can trade on their own, as much or as little as they like. We will discuss the stock market's performance and review the student's portfolios in class. Students will learn how company news, such as new product launches or legal troubles, are the reasons that stocks go up and down.Certificate of Completion
