Class Experience
By the end of this course, students will have a basic understanding of what stocks are, how people can earn money in the stock market, and different trading strategies.
I have a bachelors degree in finance from The Ohio State University and a specialization in investments.
Weekly assignments will follow this outline: 1- Watch video (20-30 minutes) 2- Research and answer discussion question (~20 minutes) 3- Take Kahoot! quiz (10 minutes)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Students will be required to do internet research as part of their discussion assignments. Please supervise your learners internet research for online safety.
