What's included
1 live meeting
45 mins in-class hoursHomework
1 hour per week. Students may need to finish adding color and small details as homework. This is optional.Class Experience
This class is a one time introduction to the basics of perspective drawing. Students will learn how to use one point perspective by participating in a step-by-step "Under the Sea Hallway" drawing. Class will begin with a short discussion about the difference between a flat drawing and a drawing in perspective. Students will then be guided, step-by-step, to use one point perspective in their own piece of art. This piece is an underwater hallway scene, kind of like an aquarium. After students have their perspective drawing set up, they will be encouraged to use their own creativity with color and details. At the end of class, students will have the opportunity to show their work to the class.
Learning Goals
At the end of class, students will have a basic understanding of how to create a piece of art using one point perspective.
