During this class, students will create and craft their own Solar Eclipse T-shirts to wear April 8th, 2024 during the next Solar Eclipse. We will spend the first 5 minutes of class allowing students to introduce themselves with their peers and teacher. Next, students will learn how to paint their very own Solar Eclipse T-shirt to wear to a Solar Eclipse Party or make it as a keepsake. Once we complete our project, each student will have time to share their shirt project with the class and tell everyone what their favorite part was.

We will be using Fabric Paint, Paint Brushes, and Tape
Supply List
Solid Black T-shirt - any size Fabric Paint - Colors needed: Red, Orange, Yellow, White Sponge Brushes Thin Brush for outline (watercolor brushes will work) Small Dessert Paper Plate Tape Cardboard to slide into the shirt An old toothbrush Newspaper or plastic tablecloth to cover work surface
