Class Experience
Star Wars is a franchise spanning a variety of films, television series, and books spanning across four decades and it shows no signs of slowing down. In November 2019, the streaming service Disney + was launched and with it Star Wars fans were given an expansion of the franchise with brand new and returning characters. This class is taught in English.
Students will be invited to join this class and participate in as much of the in-class discussions as possible. Our goals should be to come together as fans and have fun.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Educational Studies from Grand Canyon University and I am a lifelong Star Wars fan.
For homework students should watch one episode from The Book of Boba Fett each week prior to attending class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
There will be no formal grading. This is meant to be a fun class.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The Book of Boba Fett does not show any blood. There are multiple scenes demonstrating gun violence and murders.
