Star Wars has profoundly shaped modern entertainment and popular culture since its debut in 1977. With George Lucas's vision, the franchise has expanded from the original trilogy to a vast universe of movies, TV series, books, and more. The timeless story of the battle between the light and dark sides of the Force continues to captivate audiences, making Star Wars a vital part of pop culture society. I have been an avid fan for as long as I can remember, and so I am extremely excited to teach this class! Embark on a four-week journey through the Star Wars galaxy, where we'll delve into the lore, characters, and themes that have inspired generations. Each week, we'll explore different facets of the Star Wars universe, encouraging students to share their knowledge, creativity, and passion. This class has a very easygoing and low-pressure environment where Star Wars fans feel comfortable sharing their interests, questions, and new ideas! This class is also designed to help improve public speaking, as well as social skills. Basic knowledge of Star Wars is preferred.

Hello! My name is Kallen, and I can't wait to meet your student! I primarily teach classes related to Public Speaking/Model UN, History, and a variety of different pop culture/fictional topics. For example, Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Gaming, and Movies. I recently graduated high school and will be attending Columbia University in the fall, where I will be majoring in Political Science and minoring in History. I believe that every great teacher is one who listens and learns to adjust to the needs of each individual student.
