Class Experience

Learn all the basics of stage makeup that every theater kid should have in their tool kit in this fun and interactive stage makeup class! Each week we will explore a different type of makeup application with a brief teacher lecture on important information about this look followed by an interactive step by step tutorial. By the end of each class, students will have a finished stage makeup look that they can photograph and share! Students will learn to create professional face charts for each look and will be able to begin building a collection of face charts that they can access in the future to make recreating these looks easier. We will also cover stage makeup theory, how to care for your skin to prevent breakouts or other problems when wearing makeup and discuss adaptations and alternatives using different products and tools.
