Can you help Stumpy the leprechaun find his buried treasure of gold? In this escape room challenge, we will help Stumpy for St Patrick's Day! In this one-time class, students will Escape the Room! Class will begin with a small warm up in which we will introduce ourselves and discuss our favorite holidays. Then, we will work together to answer and solve all four clues to find the gold!. These clues involve puzzles and math skills. Students will use teamwork to find the answers together! As the teacher, I will be there to provide support and clues if students get stuck. Students will also practice communication, reading, listening, computer, and social skills. Students will each have an equal opportunity to speak and ask questions as needed. Students should have understanding of addition, subtraction and multiplication for this escape room.

Hello! My name is Carissa!
I have been teaching online for the past three years. I have taught ESL toyoung Chinese learners. I very much enjoy working and learning alongside my students.
I have a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri and a minor in Sociology. I spent the five years after graduating in many different social work fields before finding online teaching.
My classes include, but are not limited to, cooking, baking, travel, photography, graphic design, and elementary English. I look forward to adding more classes as I grow and brainstorm with my students!
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, spending time with friends, playing with my cat, and taking pictures. I also enjoy traveling. I have traveled all around the world including Italy, Iceland, the UK and France. I have also traveled many places in the United States. I look forward to sharing my traveling experiences with you in the future!
