**Parents- PLEASE READ THIS- Following Outschool's recommendation, I have recently changed this class to be listed as a course. That has caused so many issues! As a result, THIS WEEK (July 21-27) will be the last week for all 12 of my weekly science sessions as a course. You will be unable to enroll your learner in THIS section after this week. - Students will acquire knowledge of a different age-appropriate science topic each week. Students will demonstrate understanding of what they have learned by recording it on paper and discussing it both during and after class with their family.
I taught K-3 after school science classes for six years. Many of the topics covered in this ongoing session were part of that curriculum and very popular with the kids.

Note: ESL (English as a Second Language) students are welcome to take this class if their English level is advanced. The content and pace will most likely be too fast for beginners. You could try a class to see if the pace is acceptable.
A one-page worksheet (handout) printed before class begins. Gather any necessary materials for class such as a pencil, crayons, markers, glue, scissors, or a ruler.
