Class experience
This class is for beginners who've never played before. Classical, acoustic or electric welcome. We're learning basic chords, transitioning, and strumming as a foundation for future, more advanced guitar skills. Homework Offered
Students will have access to guitar tutorials and slideshows in case they forget what we’ve learned in class. As always, they also have access to the recordings from Outschool if they’d like to use it as an additional practice follow-along.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

In addition to the Outschool classroom, you will need a way to tune the guitar. You may choose to purchase an electronic tuner or utilize a tuning app for iPhone or Android. I use Guitar Tuna. You'll need to give your child parental consent to use this app or you may choose to tune the guitar using the app yourselves.
