Before teaching 2nd grade, I tutored students in reading comprehension, decoding words, math and science after school and during the summer. I was also a Title 1 reading intervention specialist for grades kindergarten-3rd grade. I have worked in a preschool and pre-k setting as well working on a variety of literacy skills.
