If your learner requires more structured support or prefer a more collaborative experience, I highly recommend considering enrollment in my LIVE, synchronous course, where your learner will benefit from real-time instruction and accountability.

Spectrum’s algebra workbook is a great way for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders to learn essential algebra skills such as algebraic equations, graphing, rational and irrational numbers, and more through a variety of problem-solving activities that are both fun AND educational!

The order in which units are covered is subject to change at the instructors discretion but this will not affect the curriculum covered.

Class Structure/Experience: Students will learn and practice NEW concepts weekly.  Friday is feedback day.  I will review submissions and provide individual feedback to ensure students are mastering the concepts.

Teaching Style:  Student-Centered !!!  LOTS of interactive activities, games and discussions !!!  Research proves that a student-centered instructional model is key to learning!  

Interaction Level:  Medium to High !!!  Students will have an opportunity to engage with me via their learner chat!  It is my first priority to ensure the safety of all students so open classroom chat will be limited.  All interactive activities are selected to maximize learning while providing a safe environment to do so!
