In this ongoing course, students will give a speech each week! In our first meeting, we will meet to learn dynamic public speaking skills and practice them together. We'll be assigned our speech topic to prepare for our second weekly meeting. In our second meeting, each student will perform their speech and give encouragement and feedback to peers! Students will play an active role in both performing a speech and responding to classmates' speeches. Classes are lively and interactive. The goal is for students to become more confident in public speaking and comfortable doing so in front of peers. Student interaction is a huge priority! Our classroom atmosphere is warm, supportive, encouraging and fun! A great deal of student interaction and discussion is what makes this course fun! Be prepared to "Speak Up" in class!
