Public speaking can be terrifying! This self-paced course is designed to give students an introduction to becoming more comfortable and confident speaking to an audience. Throughout 6 lessons, students will explore the fundamentals of public speaking through pre-recorded videos, flashcards, activities, and other engaging resources. By the end of the course, students will understand the fundamentals of public speaking and effective communication, including managing nervousness, mastering their body language, project their tone, and reduce the use of filler words.
Homework Offered
Students will be asked to record and submit short assignments practicing the concepts covered in each lesson. Homework will be reviewed on Tuesdays and Saturdays.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
