In this one-week summer camp, we will use TPRS® (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) to build fluency in Spanish.
Class experience
**Even if learners have been taking Spanish classes for one or more years, if they cannot easily string words together to make sentences verbally, we consider them a beginning speaker, which is appropriate for this class.** In this winter camp, learners will embark on a journey to fluency filled with fun and excitement! They are introduced to guide words each lesson. Through interaction with the teacher, learners begin integrating these words through speaking and reading the PowerPoint...
This class is taught in Spanish.
Students will learn to speak in present and past tenses through reading, storytelling, and role playing.
Homework Offered
I recommend that the learners read the story they created in class. They can also listen to some songs that include the vocabulary they learned in the day. This is not a requirement, but is helpful to the learner.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
