Class Experience

⭐This class can be a good fit for your learner if:
-They are beginners and can not yet form sentences in Spanish.
-They are willing to repeat words and practice reading out loud.
-They need to learn to perfect their reading in Spanish.
-They need to increase their vocabulary in Spanish.
-They have not yet learned to conjugate Spanish verbs.
If your learner already knows the above mentioned criteria then please reach out to me via private message so I can recommend a more appropriate course.

⭐ I offer an additional class for this age group that works well as a precusor for those who wish to have more than one meeting per week and extend their learning. Though this class can stand alone, learners will benifit the most by participating in both of the weekly meetings.

In this ongoing class we will practice/increase our Spanish vocabulary and our fluency through stories, discussions, and key words/phrases. All stories are written and illustrated by Maestra Zia.
**Parents should consider that students might need materials and/or printouts for class.

Each week we will focus on a few key words which we will see in action within our story and get to practice in class.
Class time will consist of key word review (pronunciation and visual examples), a digital story, verb practice and an alternation between full immersion activities and question/answer exercises. There will be time for questions and comments about the story and for testing our reading/listening comprehension.

Week #1 (March 20-24): Beach Collection
Week #2 (March 27-31): Silly Pet
Week #3 (April 3-7): Lost Candy
Week #4 (April 10-14): Big Meal

Maestra Zia is a happy teacher who loves to provide positive reinforcement and encourage student participation while instructing and modeling materials in a clear and fun way.

Students will be encouraged to interact in Spanish and because this is an ongoing class, they will have the opportunity to form friendships and grow together as we see each other on a consistent basis.

In order to get he most of this class, students should be willing to repeat words/phrases in Spanish and read out loud.

"Let's enrich each other's lives! Join me in a class." ~Zia
