Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano
During my years at the university, I had the opportunity of being employed by a well known language company in Colombia CIL. Under the guidance of the institute's owner, I received specialized training in a conversational teaching methodology designed to effectively instruct ESL (English as a Second Language) and Spanish to non-native speakers. This experience provided me with invaluable hands-on learning opportunities, allowing me to develop the skills necessary to teach individuals to communicate proficiently in different languages. Additionally, I gained experience in educating children in both English and Spanish and I continue updating my instruction with several workshops and certifications from ELE INTERNACIONAL, that help me learn new tools for teaching.

The time I spent working at CIL was truly remarkable, and it influenced my decision to continue working with them for more than eight years. This provided me extensive training in handling English and Spanish classes, further enhancing my teaching abilities. Today, I use my experience and native fluency in Spanish to share my knowledge with children, helping them learn in a fun and easy way. Moreover, I am deeply committed to supporting their emotional well-being and assisting them in coping with anxiety and stress through the practice of mindfulness.

Although my primary field of study is International Business, my passion lies in working with children and embarking on a journey of shared learning with them. Their innate curiosity and unwavering enthusiasm inspire me to continually expand my knowledge and refine my teaching approach. By combining my academic background with my dedication to fostering the growth of children, I aim to create a nurturing environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential.
