In this One-Time class the students will learn basic introduction in Spanish. For many learners is best to learn by being fully exposed to the language they are trying to learn.

In this One-Time class students will be exposed to full Spanish immersion. All instructions will be given in Spanish. Many studies have shown that immersion is a great way to learn a language. Students will be introduced to basic greeting/introduction in Spanish. I will model what and how to say the sentences and the learners will be repeating after me and then practicing with me or another student. I love to engage the students in the learning and make it fun. Learners will interact with me and other students by repeating the prompts I give and by practicing with other student or the teacher. I will use slides so the learner can easily see the spelling of what he/she is repeating. The learners need to have the ability to repeat in Spanish. In a case that the learner is really not understanding what it's being modeled or said I will gladly say it in English for clarification but, we'll try to stick to only Spanish and this will applied as a last resort. Spanish En esta clase única, los estudiantes estarán expuestos a una inmersión completa en Español. Todas las instrucciones se darán en español. Muchos estudios han demostrado que la inmersión es una excelente manera de aprender un idioma. Los estudiantes serán introducidos al saludo básico/introducción en español. Modelaré qué y cómo decir las oraciones y los alumnos repetirán después de mí y luego practicarán conmigo u otro estudiante. Me encanta involucrar a los estudiantes en el aprendizaje y hacerlo divertido. Los alumnos interactuarán conmigo y con otros estudiantes repitiendo las indicaciones que doy y practicando con otro estudiante o el maestro. Usaré diapositivas para que el alumno pueda ver fácilmente la ortografía de lo que está repitiendo. Los estudiantes deben tener la capacidad de repetir en español. En un caso en que el alumno realmente no está entendiendo lo que se está modelando o diciendo, con mucho gusto lo diré en Inglés para aclararlo, pero trataremos de atenernos solo al Español y esto se aplicará como último recurso.

Parental Guidance
We'll be playing a game in Kahoot. Kahoot is a third-party tool approved for use by Outschool. There is no need for the student to create an account. I will send a code for them to join my game, or we will play from my screen, and they will answer verbally.
