REFUND POLICY: Hub of Curiosity wants parents and caregivers to be able to enroll in our classes with peace of mind. We are busy parents as well and understand that life happens! The refund policy for Hub of Curiosity classes is as follows: Semester-length co-ops are fully refundable until 30 days prior to the start of class. Withdrawing 15-30 days prior to the start of the co-op will result in a 70% refund. 14 days before the start date, the class is non-refundable. Fixed-length...

Week 1Lesson 1Trivia & GamesOur week of camp activities will be comprised of scavenger hunts, Kahoot, Coin War, Guess Who, Would You Rather?, and other fun games to improve Spanish fluency and confidence. The goals of this classre are to immerse learners in the Spanish language in a natural learning environment. Learners will learn in real-world context mimicing how we learn our first language as children, through constant exposure and interaction. Through active participation in activities learners will have the opportunity to internalize vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciations more effectively.
Teacher Lili (she/her): Lili’s current homeschooling class-of-one is exceptionally lucky to have such a dedicated teacher all to herself. Lili, born and raised in the Dominican Republic, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education in her home country before later earning her Master of Arts in Education from the University of Alabama Birmingham. She brings to our classroom years of experience in a variety of classroom settings, including a dual-language immersion middle school program. Lili’s learners can expect her to cheer their successes and support them through their struggles. She’s passionate about interest-led learning and loves to dive into a unit study!
