(Beginners Edition, Part 1) Part 1 of this Spanish course meets once a week. The "¡Learn Español Conmigo! (Beginners Edition, Part 1)" is part my series called “Spanish for Kiddos” and has been designed with your young child in mind. The goal of this course is to create a fun, interactive classroom environment where young learners will be introduced to learning beginner Spanish with the assistance of a variety of topics such as: Greetings, food, the home and expressing their feelings. With my personalized help and guidance each learner present will have the ability to reproduce short sentences in Spanish. Also, with the utilization of pictures, props, free- talk and activities/games these will all facilitate your child having fun while at the same time learning a foreign language. My Spanish series called “Spanish for Kiddos” consists of a collection of Multi-Day, Ongoing and Onetime courses and that your child can take to join me on the wonderful journey of learning Spanish. ¡Vámonos! (Let’s go!) Below is an overview of the lessons that will be discussed during the duration of our 5 weeks together: Week one/uno - Greetings: • Spanish for Kiddos – Greetings y lo básico Week two/dos - Food: • Spanish for Kiddos – ¡Vamos a comer! Week three/tres - Home: • Spanish for Kiddos – La casa Week four/cuatro - Feelings: • Spanish for Kiddos – ¿Cómo te sientes? Week five/cinco - Review: • Spanish for Kiddos – ¡Vamos a repasar! Note to parents about siblings: Please note that according to the Outschool's learner policy, all learners must be enrolled to take a class and so ask please to enroll each learner present separately on the Outschool portal. During class, if it makes it easier, both siblings are free to sit together on the same device.

Parental Guidance
Parents are encouraged (not required) to be present during the "review" portion of the class for their child to demonstrate the vocabulary they just learnt in class in Spanish.
Supply List
An optional one-page Word Document sheet with a list of the target vocabulary and a few sentences has been attached for your child to keep to practice before, during and/or after class.

¡Hola! Hello! My name is Le Schawn Ward from Canada, welcome parents and learners to my Outschool profile/bio.
Here on Outschool we are encouraged to teach what we are passionate about, not only IS Spanish one of my passions but also teaching and helping others is too.
Regardless of the subject, learning level or ability, my motto is: If you’re not having fun then you’re not learning! That is what you can expect for your child in ALL my classes, they will enjoy themselves while learning.
Helping others has always been something that brings me a lot of inner joy, so I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity on Outschool to combine my love for Spanish and with helping others to learn and to speak one of the most spoken and popular languages in the world!
Now let’s get down to the ‘nitty-gritty’. I have my bachelor's degree in Education, minoring in Language Education, hold both a TEFL and TESOL certification, have a background in theatre arts, TV and commercials and I am completely fluent speaking and writing Spanish. I also have extensive public speaking skills, having done so in front of crowds of over 3,000+ people!
Since 2002, I have been teaching children, youth and adults alike. In an online setting since 2018 I have been teaching children from ages 3-16 and to date have completed over 7,500 online classes totaling over 18,500 students! In my volunteer educational work, I have been teaching people of all different ages in Spanish since 2007.
Now that the ‘nitty-gritty is out of the way, I can’t wait to meet your child/children and let the fun begin!
