In this 1-week Spanish camp, children will spend 30-minutes per day for 5-days learning about the calendar, days of the week, months of the year, colors, ABC's, weather, and colors.

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Beginner Level
In 1-week, students will learn about the calendar, weather, days of the week, months of the year, numbers 1-10, birthdays, ABC's, and colors. Students do not need any prior Spanish knowledge for this course. All classes will include verbal instruction as well as visual instruction through the use of PowerPoint presentations and hands-on with the practice worksheets assigned after each session. Students will also be able to watch videos to practice material outside of class time to keep information fresh in their mind. This class is geared more towards the lower-elementary age student.
Learning Goals
Learning Objective: Students will be able to read a calendar and describe the weather using basic sentence frames. Students will also be able to use colors, ABC's, and numbers in a basic form.
Day 1: Introduced to the calendar and weather terms and months of the year.
Day 2: Review calendar and weather, and learn days of the week and different calendar (time) terms.
Day 3: Review calendar and weather and learn numbers 1-31.
Day 4: Review calendar and weather and learn the ABC's.
Day 5: Review calendar and weather and learn the colors and birthdays.

Day 3: Students will learn about the calendar and weather and will learn numbers
Students will be introduced to the numbers 1-31 to begin putting dates together. 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Day 4: Students will review the calendar and weather and learn the ABC's.
Students will learn the ABC's in the target language. This will enable students to begin spelling months and days. 30 mins online live lesson

Supply List
Handouts may be provided before the class for review after class. Students will also be given different links where they may go and review different words that have been learned in class.
Sources
Students will view songs, games, and/or videos through different resources during class such as Youtube and Gimkit.
Students may receive worksheets in the classroom posting for additional practice outside of class time which may be printed and submitted through a picture.
