Hi! I’m Syed (pronounced Sigh-Ed)! Some like to also call me Señor Ahmed or Mr. A.

I love to teach Science, Spanish, and sometimes both at the same time. For all my techy people out there, I enjoy teaching how to use technology tools to make learning and life easier. Don’t be surprised if here and there I post a class on some of my favorite games (Halo, Minecraft, Roblox).

I have been an educator for 20 years. I am currently a certified teacher in a brick and mortar school teaching middle school science dual language Spanish. I have endorsements in:
Science Kinder to 8th grade
Bilingual Spanish Education and Dual Language
Social Science

Once upon a time I was a school principal, but I loved teaching so much that I came back to the classroom. Now I want to teach even more and teach more students here on Outschool!

As a teacher and a learner for life, I value helped me young people think for themselves and find the answers to their own questions. I have found that we often learn best through play. I try to incorporate as much play into my lessons as I can. I mean, if I'm having fun, it's likely that my students are, too!

Fun fact #1: my parents are from Venezuela and India.

Fact fact #2: I'm a big fan of anime and have hosted anime clubs for elementary and high school students!
