By the end of this course, you will have reinforced present tense Spanish verbs, animal vocabulary and emotions.
I have been teaching Spanish for 11 years to ages 10 - 18. I am a certified teacher in the state of Pennsylvanie with a B.A. in Spanish Education K-12 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have written and implemented engaging curriculum for schools at the elementary, middle and high school levels. I believe learning a language should be a fun and positive experience. Learning a language can unlock more health, social and academic benefits that life has to offer. I strive to create an environment that motivates students to see their potential while learning Spanish. I incorporate listening, reading, writing and speaking opportunities into each lesson so students gain confidence using Spanish in a variety of ways.

The class is primarily taught in Spanish. English is used for activity clarification and explanation. This course using Kahoot, Quizlet, Nearpod and optional Digiatal Book Log-In from teacher. The purpose of this course is to be fun and build confidence in a learner's ability to understand Spanish. Students will strengthen their language learning skills through reading and understanding a beginner level comprehensible novel in Spanish.
