In this Spanish course, learners will study a new animal each week. We will start off by learning how to introduce ourselves in Spanish. With the aid of videos, props, images and games, students will learn vocabulary words and easy sentences in Spanish. They will also learn to say (in Spanish) where these animals live, what they look like, and what they eat. We will have fun making animal sounds, drawing, coloring, and spelling each animal. Some of the animals we will study are bears (osos), elephants (elefantes), sharks (tiburones), dogs (perros), cats (gatos), butterflies (mariposas) and more! I am a very energetic and patient teacher. My classes are interactive and thoughtful! I am passionate about teaching my native language to kids. I believe that learning and speaking another language can improve your life in so many ways. Our world is becoming more and more connected, being bilingual opens up social and cultural opportunities and it definitely gives you a new perspective of life. *No background knowledge in Spanish is needed to succeed in this class. Best Regards, -Teacher Maria
