In this ongoing class we will explore the basics of different aspects of space such as planets, stars, the moon, gravity, astronauts, and more each week!

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
This class will begin with introductions so students can feel comfortable with eachother and the teacher. Each week, the teacher will guide the students through a discovery of a new aspect of space. Students can expect to explore different planets and their attributes, the stars, the moon, astronauts, gravity, constellations, etc., each week in class. The information provided each week will not build on each other so students do not need to be present each week to participate and enjoy class. Students will be provided with a printable of some kind each week to go along with the aspect of space that will be explored that week. Printables may be a coloring page, a matching game/sheet, or a craft project. Students will be given notice of what will be needed for class each week prior to the beginning of class so students can come to class prepared to participate and learn with the other students. Students will be encouraged to ask and answer questions throughout class, but will not be required to participate. Class will end with students being able to show the teacher what they have been working on in class and brief goodbyes.

Students will learn about the different aspects of space through class discussion, coloring, games, and crafts.

Parental Guidance
Students may need to use scissors during some of the craft times in class and may need help during this time.
Supply List
Handouts will be provided prior to each class that will go along with the lesson for the week. A material list (if any) will also be listed in the classroom each week to go along with the lesson for the week so students can come to class prepared. Most often students will use crayons, markers, scissors, glue, or construction paper.
